Assigned with the task of mimicking the functionality of Mint.com's splash banner menu, I provided the main flash info banner for New Colony Financial:

INSPIRATION:
The goal was to mimic the primary flash body from Mint.com. There was the desire to have a no-click navigation so the buttons had timers in them that would go off and activate the link if you hovered over it for a few seconds.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE:
Font selection. Sometimes there are battles you just can't win and I really tried to fight the font selection. It was that or not get paid.

EXPERIENCE GAINED:
Not a very difficult project, though I did gain a better understanding of timer events. The no-click navigation was a fun idea to work with.
